Neurologique envisions a world where neurologic diagnoses fit into a person’s life.
Western medical care has become too regimented, with even follow-up visit frequency being dictated a priori. Neurologique strives to revolutionize the way we give and receive medical care by bringing the patient’s educational needs to the forefront of the clinic office visit. |
After an initial intake consultation, each patient’s clinical and educational priorities will be agreed upon by the neurologist, mental health counselor and patient, in order to develop a personalized therapeutic plan.
Patients will be enrolled in ongoing educational-therapeutic cohorts, based upon clinical needs. For example, some symptoms may take 2 days, 2 weeks or 2 months to bring under control, and so a patient will be seen for follow-up more or less frequently as dictated by the issue being addressed (why wait 6 months for a follow-up visit on an issue that could have been resolved faster with 3 visits over 2 months?).
