What does Neurologique mean?
Service and Partnership.
- Service to neurologists
- Service to patients
- Service to the community
What can Neurologique do for you? |
Doctors:
Neurologique can help enroll your patients in appropriate and ethical clinical trials. You will remain their treating physician and as always, Daniel Kantor, MD, is dedicated to ensuring that you maintain your therapeutic relationship with your patients. While we do offer second opinions for you, we are simpltly consultants and have no desire to interfere with your relationship with your patients, but instead to enhance it by partnering with you to ensure your patients have the highest quality opportunities for research, education and your clinical care. The reason why doctors from as far as Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Miami, Tampa and Orlando are sending their patients for specialized opinions, is that both the doctor and patient know how dedicated Dr. Kantor is to not only not interfere with their physician-patient relationship, but to help strengthen it. An example of this is the MS relapse service, where Neurologique will update you on your patients' status 2 weeks after a relapse so that you stay up-to-date on their clinical status. |
Patients:
Neurologique partners with your doctor to offer you individualized opportunities for the highest quality:
- cutting-edge research
- multi-modality education
- assistance in difficult clinical decisions
Neurologique understands the need for the medical community to take an even greater interest in the general community. As physicians, we have a sacred duty to our individual patients, but together we can partner to improve the well-being of the entire community.
- As an example, Neurologique is developing fitness and mentoring programs for youth in distressed neighborhoods.
- Neurologique is actively partnering with other nonprofits to improve the lives of the community by harnessing our joint skill sets.
- Patients are central to these goals and understand how important it is to give back to others. The Multiple Sclerosis Patient Network (M*S*P*N) is a perfect example of this, as an extension of the patient-centered Multiple Sclerosis Team Approach Rule (M*STAR), members of M*S*P*N reach out to help others, not only with MS -- but with the entire community.
Talk to your neurologist and PCP, so that we can partner with them.

Neurologique Research offers a relapse service to you and your doctor: If you and your neurologist give permission to us, we will follow you through a relapse and enroll you in a clinical trial if you consent. At the end of the two weeks after your relapse, Neurologique will update your neurologist on your clinical situation. |

Too often medical care is sterile and cold, while the job of your doctors should be to promote healing in a soothing environment. Neurologique aims to recenter the patient as the leader of your health team.
