Vision:

Clinical research Neurologique is dedicated to ensuring that all research conducted at our site follows the strictest ethical and professional guidelines and ideals.
Clinical research is not a replacement for clinical care; instead research trials should complement the armamentarium available to patients and their doctors in the treatment of neurological and psychological diagnoses.
Clinical research is available free of charge to all patients, regardless of financial need or background. Participants in trials are seen clinically by their regular neurologist, and there is communication between our research team and those neurologists.
Principles
- Noncompetitive trials
- Bias is avoided by avoiding neurologists from choosing which clinical trial a patient will be enrolled in based on preconceived notions of the strength of an investigational medication.
- Well-recognized IRB (Institutional/Ethics Review Board)
- Central IRBs are established as efficient and ethical mechanisms to protect the safety of clinical trial participants.
Central IRBs that are already familiar with the design and conduct of the particular trial as theses IRBs are already well versed in the ethics of each particular clinical trial.
